Lodge Profile

In this basin, Mono Lake naturally draws the flow of all waters. Reversed Creek must take a "reversed" course through this horseshoe canyon to accomplish that natural draw. It originates at Gull Lake but is mainly spring fed along its way to Silver Lake. Likewise, the rugged side of the peak north of June Lake faces away from Mono Lake, thus named, Reversed Peak. Our lodge takes its name from these glacier formed monuments of mother nature.
Reverse Creek Lodge is located "in the heart" of the June Lake Loop along State Highway #158, just 4.5 miles in from Hwy. 395. Our A-frames are built on a promenade above Reversed Creek with a breathtaking view of the solid granite columns of Carson Peak, elevation 10,909 feet. Three hundred yards down the highway you will find our office and motel rooms on the creek, with a panoramic view of the mountainside. Adjacent to and on the other side of the creek are our cabins, secluded and nestled in the tall pines. Under new management since April of 1995, improvements have been made, both subtle and substantial. Hoping to keep that rustic flavor of a mountain cabin, we have brought the condition of all our cabins up to a level compatible with today's expectations. Family owned and family cleaned!
